The Role

This role is known internally as Schools Engagement Coordinator NSW/ACT.

Based in North Sydney, you will lead Catholic Mission’s school engagement and fundraising activities across NSW/ACT, driving participation in campaigns such as Socktober and building strong relationships with Catholic school communities.

You will deliver workshops and events, support fundraising initiatives, and help grow awareness and engagement across the region.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead schools engagement and associated fundraising initiatives across NSW/ACT

  • Drive participation and fundraising outcomes for Socktober

  • Deliver workshops, presentations, and school events

  • Build relationships with schools and stakeholders

  • Support campaign delivery and community engagement activities

What You Bring

You are an engaging relationship-builder who can inspire young people, connect authentically with school communities, and drive successful fundraising outcomes.

Your key experience and capabilities include:

  • Experience in fundraising, education, community or youth engagement, relationship building, or similar

  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills

  • Experience delivering campaigns, events, or engagement programs

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Driver’s licence and willingness to travel across NSW/ACT

  • Understanding of the Catholic education sector (desirable)
