Your Impact

You will lead the national strategy for engaging school communities and partners across Australia for Catholic Mission — driving participation, strengthening relationships, and delivering meaningful impact.

At the centre of this role is Socktober, Australia’s flagship schools fundraising campaign for World Mission Month. You’ll grow its reach, deepen engagement, and ensure it continues to connect students with global mission while delivering sustainable fundraising outcomes.

The Role

This role is known internally as National Manager, Schools Engagement.

You will lead a national partnerships and schools engagement program, combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery of programs and fundraising targets.

Key responsibilities include:

·        Building strategic partnerships across education and Diocesan networks

·        Achieving fundraising targets for the national schools engagement strategy

·        Overseeing end-to-end delivery of Socktober

·        Leading a national team across multiple states

·        Driving engagement, participation, and fundraising outcomes

·        Identifying opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability

The Organisation

Catholic Mission is the Pope’s international mission agency in Australia, partnering with communities globally to support healthcare, education, and sustainable development. Through initiatives like Socktober, the organisation connects Australian schools with global mission in a way that is practical, values-driven, and impactful.

What You Bring

·        Experience leading engagement programs, campaigns, or partnerships

·        Ability to influence and lead across geographically dispersed teams

·        Background in community sectors, fundraising, schools, education or youth

·        Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

·        Proven ability to deliver strategy and execution

·        Confident presenter with strong project management capability

·        Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline

·        A commitment to Catholic values and mission
